The Zico Foundation has organized the “Football Clinic by Coach Zico - Kiatisuk Senamuang”, featuring a team of professional coaching staff and former Thai national football players.
This initiative focuses on providing fundamental football training, emphasizing proper techniques in dribbling, passing, heading, and shooting, to help young players develop a solid foundation in the sport.
The program also aims to inspire and motivate children and youth across Thailand to pursue their passion for football and personal growth through sports. The clinic is free of charge, made possible through the generous support of local benefactors and partner organizations. The Zico Foundation is proud to play a small part in supporting students under the Border Patrol Police Schools across Thailand. The foundation contributes by providing sports drinks and footballs for use in physical education classes and annual sports day activities.
The Zico Foundation recognizes the urgent need for footballs and sports equipment in underprivileged schools across Thailand. To address this, the foundation launched the “Something Better” project, aimed at providing footballs to children in remote areas and schools with limited resources, giving them the opportunity to play and enjoy sports. Whenever Thailand faces natural disasters such as widespread flooding across the country, the Zico Foundation steps in to provide essential aid and act as a bridge between generous donors and affected communities - particularly in the Northern and Northeastern regions. Through its charity initiatives, the foundation delivers relief bags, food, daily necessities, and emergency supplies, as well as raises funds to help ease the suffering of flood victims during crises. The Zico Foundation, in collaboration with Brooke House College Football Academy in the United Kingdom, has established a Football Development Scholarship to develop skills and inspire Thai youth. This program provides Thai youth under 14 years old who demonstrate exceptional football talent but lack both the opportunities and financial means to pursue further education in football and short-term English courses. implemented for two intakes in 2018 and 2019.
The Zico Foundation has granted scholarships for football personnel development to support coaches, youth mentors, and educators to advance their knowledge and skills through the AFC coaching license programs: A, B, and C Levels. This initiative aims to empower these individuals to return and share their expertise, experience, and inspiration with young people across Thailand. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Zico Foundation, led by Coach Zico - Kiatisuk Senamuang, organized nationwide relief activities to support affected people across Thailand. The Foundation helped establish the Bang Sue Grand Station Vaccination Center; donated vaccine storage refrigerators to provincial hospitals in need; and provided shelter support; survival bags; cooked meals; face masks; and protective equipment. It also extended assistance to medical personnel across various regions.
