Zico Foundation Volunteers Support HackVax in Establishing High-Capacity COVID-19 Screening Centre
The Zico Foundation volunteer team joined HackVax in establishing and supporting the operation of a COVID-19 screening centre at the Princess Mother National Institute on Drug Abuse Treatment.
The screening centre was launched through a collaboration between the National Health Security Office (NHSO) and Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital to expand proactive COVID-19 testing for residents in high-risk ("red zone") communities.
Designed to accommodate up to 5,000 tests per day, the centre played an important role in increasing access to large-scale screening during the peak of the pandemic. Zico Foundation volunteers supported on-site operations and coordination, working alongside healthcare professionals and partner organisations to help ensure the efficient delivery of testing services.
