Zico Foundation Launches Football Clinic Program for Thai Youth
“Creating a Football Future for Thai Youth” Project in Honour of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
On 7 December 2025 at OJ Arena Football Field, Chaeng Watthana Road, “Coach Zico” Kiatisuk Senamuang, President of the Zico Foundation and former head coach of the Thailand national football team, together with former Thailand national team players and foundation volunteers, organised a football clinic for youth under the “Creating a Football Future for Thai Youth” project in honour of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
The project was created to provide young people with the opportunity to learn proper football skills and develop their potential through football. The Zico Foundation’s training curriculum was designed for children aged 5–13 years old, with all activities provided free of charge.
More than 1,000 children registered for the program, with 200 participants selected to join the training sessions.
Founded in 2012, the Zico Foundation has continuously supported youth development through football by organising football clinics, donating sports equipment to underprivileged schools, providing scholarships, delivering inspirational activities, and supporting former football players and their families.
Now entering its 13th year, the foundation launched this project to celebrate the 70th birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on 2 April 2025.
Kiatisuk Senamuang stated that the project was created to inspire young people who are passionate about football while expanding opportunities for youth development through sports. The foundation also aims to expand the football clinic program to communities across Thailand in the future.
The activity received strong support from former national team players, volunteers, and supporters who contributed both financially and through volunteer efforts to help make the project possible.
